This policy explains which cookies and similar technologies are used on stixflow.com, on the StixFlow dashboard and on the payment pages powered by StixFlow. It supplements the Privacy Policy.

A cookie is a small file stored on your device by your browser when you visit a website. It allows the site to recognise your browser for a limited time, for example to keep you signed in. “Similar technologies” covers other ways of storing or reading information on your device, such as local storage.

2. Our approach

StixFlow uses only cookies that are strictly necessary to provide the service you request or to keep it secure. We do not use advertising cookies, audience measurement cookies or social network trackers on stixflow.com.

Under Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act and Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC, strictly necessary cookies do not require consent. This is why no consent banner is displayed. If we were to introduce cookies that require consent, we would ask for it before placing them and update this policy.

3. Cookies we use

NameSet byPurposeDuration
stixflow_sessionStixFlowKeeps your session: sign-in to the dashboard, protection of forms against forgery, and the state of a form or a cart in progress. Not readable by scripts.Session: deleted when you close your browser
__stripe_midStripeFraud prevention on pages where a payment or a business verification takes place.1 year
__stripe_sidStripeFraud prevention during the payment session.30 minutes

The Stripe cookies are placed only on pages that load the payment service provider’s components: hosted payment pages, merchant storefront checkouts and the business verification form. They are set by Stripe, which acts as a separate controller for them. Their names and durations are those published by Stripe and may change.

4. Third-party resources

The sign-in pages and merchant storefronts load typefaces from Google Fonts. This does not place a cookie, but your browser sends your IP address to Google when the typeface is requested.

Merchants are responsible for any cookie or tracker they add to their own storefronts or pages, and for obtaining consent where the law requires it.

5. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the cookies listed above will prevent you from signing in and from completing a payment. The help pages of the main browsers explain how to proceed:

  • Chrome: Settings, Privacy and security, Third-party cookies;
  • Safari: Settings, Privacy;
  • Firefox: Settings, Privacy and Security;
  • Edge: Settings, Cookies and site permissions.

6. Changes and contact

We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date of the current version is shown at the top of this page. For any question, write to [email protected].
